As a startup nonprofit, Elixir is run by people volunteering their time. Elixir's strategy for improving the health of Seattle's uninsured community draws on volunteers from many disciplines, including medicine, business, public health, computer science, education, and visual arts. This interdisciplinary group will learn about important issues about the nation's healthcare system first hand.
